Adobe products suck. I wish I didn’t have to use them because they are nothing but problems from the installation on through. And forget about getting support for older versions. I’ll say it again, Adobe products suck. Please, somebody, come up with a better industry standard. Hey, perhaps one that actually works? Wow, what a concept.

  3. I’ve been using Acrobat 7 for years and was quite happy with it. However, it will not work with Windows 7 and Adobe seems to ignore this MS release altogether. I downloaded the demo and it tested fine with Windows 7 Professional, so I bought the upgrade install. It installed smoothly and does what we need.

Would not recognize my prior 7 license – (it was OEM). Had to call Adobe – wait 15 minutes. Also OCR is not nearly as good and Nuance’s product OMNIPAGE. Crashes computer XP pro after a large number of OCRs. Very hard to remember commands.

  5. Too many technical issues with Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. The customer support at Adobe seems as if they are working off of a one technician staff. The hold time is horrible (over 1 hour & 20 minutes). If you can select a different software, I strongly recommend you do. I honestly do not understand how a company can stay in business with such terrible customer service.
